I originally began making these shampoo bars because I wanted an alternative to many commercial shampoos that contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), a strong foaming ingredient commonly used in cleansing products. I wanted a simple, handcrafted shampoo made with carefully selected oils that delivers exceptional lather without relying on SLS.
